Don Hitchens has over 20 years of professional experience working with dogs. He has spent the past five years training Friendship APL dogs at the Grafton Correctional Institute. He combines his experience, love for working with the GCI Grads and his training knowledge to provide group dog training sessions for the public. Don uses a variety of training styles to improve your relationship with your four-legged family member.
Denise is not only one of the Humane Officers at FAPL, but also has worked alongside Don for many years, growing our GCI program and dog training program. Denise is familiar with the many training methods and skills taught in our training program and works with the public to help correct unwanted behavior issues.
