Friendship APL Volunteers Make it Happen...
Volunteering is a tradition
Lorain County citizens have been volunteering for Friendship APL since
it began. Indeed, Friendship APL was created and is governed by a volunteer
Board of Trustees. A formal volunteer program was initiated
in 1998. Volunteers fill crucial roles in the shelter by walking the dogs, cleaning
cages, and keeping the shelter operating. Volunteers also work
with the cats, the spay & neuter program or take pets to nursing
homes. They may also serve on various committees, help with fund
raising events, or do other wonderful things.

Who can
volunteer?
Friendship APL welcomes all volunteers who have a genuine
interest in helping the pets and who seek to further our aims and ideas.

Orientation
